Use Twitter to Generate IDEAL Leads!

How to find Ideal Leads on Twitter

 



1) Write down your top 3 or 4 keywords about products/services your business offers and your prospects would be interested in.

2) Use the Twitter search box and plug those keywords in, a few different times in a few different variations, to see who is talking about those keywords.  Look at their profile to decide if they are potentially a good fit as a prospect.

3) If they appear to be a good prospect, tweet to them using the @theirname - starting a conversation.  Either offer content they may be interested in or indicate you can be a resource for any questions they may have about those keywords.

Voila!  You are beginning a
dialogue - and potentially a long-term relationship with a TARGETED prospect!

If folks only knew how Un-Professional they appear when they voice such ridiculousness!

[Yes, I am periodically guilty too!]

 

It is like admitting, "I am so incompetent I can not even capably manage the valuable resource that is almost TOTALLY in my control - TIME!"

 

"I am demonstrating by my words and ACTIONS (or lack of ACTION) that I am not skillful enough to capably manage my day in a manner that will permit my business to generate improved ROI - Return on Investment - because I do not consistently demonstrate the solid discipline that guides how I consciously choose to allocate this MISSION CRITICAL resource!"


Ironically, these folks are the very ones I [and other experienced pros] can help with the products and services we offer to small local businesses.

For example, my company's MISSION is to help them increase sales and "Bring the OFFLINE World to Their ONLINE Presence(TM)" BUT, I can't help if they don't allocate the TIME and TAKE THE ACTION to move forward toward achieving that goal.

REMEMBER, by their own words, these folks are making themselves easy to recognize - vocalizing their incompetence with each statement that comes out of their mouth!

They also are easy to pick out of a crowd; as they are the very ones who never COMMIT to any kind of  meeting date or ACTION PLAN, that has the potential to help them move forward more productively - and more profitably.

 

I ran across so many of these "UN-Professionals" I thought they were forming a fraternity; and they appear to be growing in numbers.  (Don't worry, NO NAMES will be shared here)

That's why I commission the "Custer's Last Stand" Cartoon --

PS - Another tell-tale sign allowing them to be spotted in a crowd are the words they use as an excuse for NOT KNOWING, again clearly demonstrating another glaring ADMISSION of their incompetence, "I never read all the way through the email"

Well, they certainly are fostering the explosive growth of Mobile Marketing....and to prove my point that Camera-less video is a super way to communicate new concepts; they have even used an animated video to communicate their new "Partnering" arrangement with Smart Wallet, an applicatioin for iPhone or Android that allows you to pay with your smartphone - linked to your credit card.

RADIO - versus - Direct Mail/ONLINE Media : To air, or not?

 Everything I do in my business (and for my Clients) gets MEASURED!
I hope it is the same with your business, Phil.

I believe a targeted Video Marketing Campaign would probably generate 3-5 TIMES more ROI than a radio ad, but it will be a wonderful learning lesson to hear your stats - if they do prove me wrong.

I council clients the best way to gain new business is to cost-effectively use Direct Mail [and Social Media/Email] to DRIVE TRAFFIC to their ONLINE coupon/special incentive offer.... where they can be converted from a Prospect Into a Customer.

In my humble (and biased) opinion, CAll2ACTION(TM) Symbols are the perfect vehicle to get that accomplished. MOST COST EFFECTIVELY, on a Budget!
